About

RenderCon Kenya is the home of the East African React ecosystem and a movement building the next generation of African software engineers. Now in its 4th edition, the conference gathers over 200 developers, designers, and engineers from across the region to explore the latest in React, React Native, frontend engineering, AI integration, and community building. Curated sessions are led by practitioners shipping real-world products, focusing on actionable insights rather than theoretical slides.

Attendees can expect deep dives into React internals, mobile-first development with React Native, web performance, AI-powered UIs, open source, and career growth for developers in Africa. The event is organized by ReactDevsKe, the largest React developer community in East Africa, and serves as the annual in-person gathering for this vibrant ecosystem.

RenderCon is more than a conference — it's a celebration of African innovation, where mobile-first apps, startup velocity, and world-class engineering talent converge. With strong backing from global and local tech companies, the event offers unparalleled networking opportunities, access to hiring teams, and a platform to shape the future of African tech.
