About

Oxidize is the conference for companies and developers using Rust professionally. The event brings together industry leaders, open-source contributors, and engineers to share insights, tools, and success stories. Focused on applied Rust and real-world decision-making, Oxidize features workshops and talks from experts building Rust systems in production environments.

The conference spans three days, starting with full-day workshops on Monday, followed by two days of talks and panels. Topics include safety-critical Rust development, embedded systems, FFI, microbenchmarking, zero-knowledge proofs, and high-assurance projects. Speakers represent leading companies such as Quantum Systems, Volvo Cars, Red Hat, KDAB, and Ferrous Systems.

Oxidize is co-hosted by Ferrous Systems and KDAB, two prominent contributors to the Rust ecosystem. The event emphasizes practical knowledge, professional use cases, and community collaboration, making it a key gathering for Rust practitioners in industry.
