About

LASCON (Lonestar Application Security Conference) is a premier event dedicated to advancing the field of application security. The 2026 edition will take place on October 29–30 in Austin, Texas, following two days of in-depth pre-conference training on October 27–28. The conference features expert-led sessions, hands-on training, and keynotes from industry leaders, focusing on cutting-edge topics such as AI security, secure coding, and modern web application vulnerabilities.

Attendees can expect a rich program covering offensive and defensive security techniques, with a strong emphasis on practical knowledge and real-world applications. The event includes training courses on subjects like Hacking Modern Web Apps, Secure Coding with the OWASP Top 10, and AI SecureOps, as well as a dedicated session on LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI systems. LASCON fosters a collaborative environment for security practitioners to share insights, tools, and strategies.

The conference is held at Norris Conference Centers - Austin and attracts sponsors and speakers from leading security organizations. While the Call for Papers (CFP) has not yet opened, attendees can already register for training and conference passes.
