DataEngBytes is the largest independent conference for data engineers and practitioners in Oceania. Run by data engineers, for data engineers, it serves as a vendor-neutral forum to bring together data experts, leaders, practitioners, and community members to learn about the latest in the field, share challenges, and discover new solutions. The Melbourne edition takes place on July 23-24, 2026, at Collins Square Business & Events Centre, featuring deep technical talks, hands-on workshops, and networking with over 500 data engineering professionals. The event includes Leaders Day for executives, AI Engineering Day, and the signature AfterBytes party for relaxed networking.
